Oerlemans Plastics has modern machinery consisting of a large number of extruders. On some of these machines we can also make coex film, this is a film that consists of multiple layers. An example of this is a potting soil bag. The inside of this bag is black to block the light, the outside is white so that a nice print can be put on it. So we can give the film all kinds of properties by adding a color or other raw material per layer.
The operators in our extrusion department work in 3 or 5 shifts and receive thorough internal training. Our technical department keeps the machinery up-to-date by performing preventive maintenance and any malfunctions are quickly remedied. This enables us to guarantee our qualities and delivery time.
In 2022, two coextruders were commissioned on which film is made from 7 layers. On these extruders we can make e.g. barrier film that is 100% recyclable.
Oerlemans Plastics has been BRCGS Packaging Materials certified since 2004.
